Hocking Hills

Some of the best riding in the state is found around Hocking Hills but the ride over there "sucks" between Xenia and Circleville. A MUCH better route is to take St Rt 72 south out of Jamestown to St Rt 28 (24 mi). Turn left (east) on Rt28 to US 50 east (left)(30 mi). Take 50 into Chillicothe (about 5 1/2mi) to North (left) on Busness US 23. Take Bus 23 to ST RT 159 (about 4 mi). Take St Rt 159 North, (east), This is a bit tricky as 159 begins here with Bus 23 joining St Rt 23. Take 159 aprox 3 mi to St Rt 180 east (right turn). Ride 180 aprox 13 miles to Laurelville. From there ride on St Rt 56 east to Rt. 664 stopping of course at one of the "biker" bars for a cool down. This way adds about 30 ~ 45 min to traveling time but it's so worth it.
