Views
You can choose to view the calendar Daily, Weekly or Monthly. The
calendar is set to weekly view by default. Since most motorcycle
events occur on the weekends, be sure to check the monthly
view for future planning.
Search
The search function is a great feature to find something in
particular.
Try searching by city, motorcycle club, charity organization or local
pub.
Filter
Another feature of the calendar is being able to filter motorcycle events by
category. Present categories are Bike Nights, Races, Rallys,
Runs, Shows, Swap
Meets
and Music. If you would like to suggest more categories, please
send a note using the suggestion form.
Update
The update tab is the entry point for adding motorcycle events to the calendar.
Note for Mozilla Users: There is a bug in Mozilla that prevents
the page from forwarding after you hit the submit button when adding an
event. You will get a blank white page.
You have two choices,
1) Use IE when adding
events. (I really hate to say this, because I love using Mozilla)
2) When you receive the blank white page, remove anything after
http://www.wherestheride.com/ in the address bar and hit enter on your
keyboard. DO NOT USE YOUR BACK BUTTON. Using the back
button will cause the event to be entered each time you click it and it
still will not forward to the correct page.
Printing
The Calendar
Click on file at the top of your browser, click print preview and make
adjustments as necessary (like changing orientation to landscape for
the monthly view). Monthly views will most likely result in two
pages.
If you see colors in your print preview when using Internet Explorer:
Click on Tools, Internet Options
and then Advanced. Scroll down to Printing and uncheck the box
for 'Print background colors and images'. Click Apply and then Ok.
