Harley-Davidson’s Second Quarter Results

Milwaukee, Wis. (July 19, 2007) - Harley-Davidson, Inc. (NYSE: HOG) today announced its results for the second quarter ended July 1, 2007. Revenue for the quarter was $1.62 billion compared to $1.38 billion in the year ago quarter, a 17.7 percent increase. Net income for the quarter was $290.5 million compared to $243.4 million, an increase of 19.3 percent over the second quarter of 2006. Second quarter diluted earnings per share (EPS) were $1.14, a 25.3 percent increase compared to last year’s $0.91. What A Blessed Day!

Wow, what a day it has been!  After a long cold winter, there is nothing better to rejuvenate a biker than a nice brisk ride in the morning to a gathering of 5 or 6 thousand other bikers (give or take a thousand!).  The 7th Annual Blessing of the Bikes, presented by the Dayton 73 Mooseriders,  was once again a tremendous success.
